The Cruiser
This is a very popular style of ride especially in the 1980’s. They have a history going back to the 1930’s through to the 1960’s with a large increase in Japanese made Cruisers in the 80’s. Having said that, the typical Cruiser is American at heart and is also well represented here in Australia.
Cruisers are usually the base custom ride from which modifications and customizations take place. There are many types of Cruisers catering for all our riding needs from touring to commuting each day. Some of the most comfortable handlebars for a cruiser are a set of Westerns, Beach Bars, Buckhorns or Mini Ape Hangers. You can even fit most of these without extending any of your cables.
